We are experienced in working with companies wishing to offer accredited sustainability programs and service offerings such as greenhouse gas validation and verification, environmental product declarations and green building.
Jabeen Quadir is a licensed Chemical Engineer with 26 years of experience in engineering and management positions with various organizations and multiple industry sectors. She has a diverse background in strategic planning, program and project management, operations, management systems, green building standards, green building rating systems, standards development, chemical plant process engineering as well as marketing and business development.
Ms Quadir is passionate about promoting the adoption of sustainability principles, programs, practices, processes, technologies and products that encompass environmental, economic and sociocultural aspects, based on a foundation of sound life cycle considerations.
Michelle Albanese has a Masters in Environmental and Health Sciences and over 15 years of experience in developing environmental assessments and strategies. She has a diverse background in environmental toxicology, statistics, risk assessment, organizational assessments, natural heritage conservation, project management as well as public outreach and education. In her role as Senior Conservation Specialist with Orland Conservation, Michelle has worked with countless municipalities and environmental non-government organizations developing and implementing conservation strategies.
Ms Albanese has a strong scientific and biology background which gives her a special perspective on sustainability issues and their impact on the natural environment. She is a strategic thinker who can assess all aspects of sustainability and can provide sound recommendations for moving forward with success.
Bashar Mutlak is a Chemical Engineer with varied experience in business development, project management and process improvement roles in the construction, real estate investment, health care and manufacturing sectors.
Mr. Mutlak has been responsible for business development activities and development of standards in the areas of Sustainable Buildings and Water, Wastewater and Storm Water Systems. He played a key role in organizing and coordinating a Sustainable Buildings Workshop, engaging Canada’s top business leaders in developing a common vision for sustainable building standards in Canada.
Asif Quadir is Senior Legal Counsel at a leading Canadian financial institution with operations across Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to this Asif was a Director at another major financial institution with their Global Sourcing division. Asif was also a Principal at Infosys, an Indian pure-play outsourcer, where he assisted in strategic planning, negotiations and post-deal integration and transition management. After receiving his MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University, Asif joined Cap Gemini Ernst and Young’s management consulting practice.
Mr. Quadir holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Western Ontario. He completed his LL.B from the University of Ottawa, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1994.
